Sweet mead fermented with petals and rosehips. The honey from which it was produced comes from Skannerup. The 2017 vintage is slightly sweeter and milder than the 2016 vintage. It is characterized by a medium intense amber color. The taste is palpable dry apricots, wild raspberries, coffee, coconut, green figs, raisins, caramel and brown apples. Despite the fact that it is sweet honey, it should be classified as semi-sweet with a pleasant average acidity, which perfectly accompanies sweetness. It goes perfectly with dry cheeses, nuts, chocolate desserts, cakes and dark chocolate. Before serving, allow the drink to breathe for about 30 minutes. Hyben Mjød 2017 should be served at 10-12°C in large white wine glasses.
