Tør Gylden Mjød 2017 (Tor Gylden Mjod) 750 ml – Danish mead

Dry mead made from honey from Samsoe, where bees visited flowering hokkaido plants. Tør Gylden Mjød 2017 is a clear mead of medium color intensity. The aroma goes in a milky, fruity and floral direction – with heavy notes of butter, banana, peach, cream, vanilla, coconut and pineapple. In taste, it is complex, with acidity at an average level and a slight bitterness. The aromas of lemon, toffee, coffee and white pepper are clearly felt, as well as delicate notes of sherry, which will be strengthened over the years. Please note that in the case of mead, it is important to open the bottle 30 minutes before consumption, as it must breathe. Tør Gylden Mjød 2017 should be drunk in large white wine glasses at a temperature of about 9-12°C.
