Additional information: "Champagne GOSSET is the oldest wine house in Champagne. Founded in 1584 in the village of Aÿ by Pierre Gosset, the company initially traded in still wines. Champagne GOSSET was one of the last Champagne houses to avoid the use of lactic and malolactic fermentation responsible for softening and smoothing the wine. As a result, the GOSSET style is characterised as ultra-traditional, austere and dry.The prestigious French magazine Revue du Vin de France ranked GOSSET 4th! in the Top 50 Champagne Brand ranking."
Gosset Grand Blanc de Blancs Brut is a classic single-varietal champagne. The term Blanc de Blancs refers to white champagne and means that it is made from 100% Chardonnay grape. The colour is dominated by light gold. Mineral accents dominate the bouquet, but there are also well-defined aromas of flowers or white fruits such as apricots and mirabelles, even with touches of honey, right alongside sour lemons and quince. Also on the palate we find a richness of sensations. We feel white sour fruits, followed immediately by accents of white sweet fruits, and then elegant toasty notes. This is undoubtedly a lively, well-structured Champagne, with a dry character but also a silky structure, full of harmonious flavours, ending with a long silky finish.
