Campolongo di Torbe is a very elegant red wine from the excellent producer Masi Agricola. It stands out for its intensity and balance, with smooth almond aromas. The grapes come from a vineyard whose quality has been proven since the 12th century. The wine is ruby red in colour. In the nose, notes of baked apple and cinnamon are noticeable. On the palate, the wine is full and balanced, with an aftertaste of ripe cherries and baked plums. The wine was made from a Vaalpolicella blend, i.e. Corvina, Rondinalla and Molinara varietals. Previous vintages have been awarded many times, so one can conclude that this wine will soon be famous for its many accolades and medals.
Campolongo di Torbe is a prestigious vineyard located 400 metres above sea level, in the Valpolicella region, in the province of Negrar. The grapes from this vineyard are known for their extraordinary quality. They are grown on red, limestone-rich soils. The Campolongo di Torbe vineyard was first mentioned as early as the 12th century.
