Phacelia honey is produced from phacelia, which has been recognized as the queen of melliferous plants. Honey produced from the nectar of phacelia flowers has a very delicate and slightly sour taste and a floral smell. It is characterized by a light yellow or greenish color.
It has many healing properties, which makes it one of the most valued honeys in Poland. Phacelia honey is recommended primarily for people suffering from hypertension, because it effectively reduces it. It is a product that perfectly strengthens immunity and prevents inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, because it is characterized by bactericidal properties. Phacelia honey contains choline that protects our liver, especially in poisoning. This honey also supports the treatment of diseases of the digestive system, including stomach and duodenal ulcers, gastritis, problems with the gallbladder and pancreas. It is also helpful in the treatment of bronchial asthma. Phacelia honey is used in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, myocardial insufficiency and atherosclerosis. Ions contained in honey, such as magnesium, iron and cobalt, affect the stimulation of red blood cells. This honey should therefore be consumed after a lot of physical and intellectual effort. The honey in question reduces the toxic effects of stimulants such as alcohol and nicotine, as well as coffee and tea.
