Rye spirit is a colourless manufactory product, resulting exclusively from the fermentation and subsequent distillation of whole rye grains. This liquor in the smell is associated with roasted rye grain, strongly baked wholemeal bread. Aerated releases delicate fruity notes - pears and apples dominate, and in the background mandarin and re-roasted grains. In the mouth a delicate apparent sweetness, the crust of wholemeal bread gently smeared with honeydew honey.
