Dry, sparkling rose mead fermented with sloe from Jutland. Perfect for aperitif, tapas and cocktails. The honey from which it was produced comes from Klintrup. This liquor is seasoned with wild blackthorn and bird cherries from the trees surrounding the brewery in the small village of Malling south of Aarhus in Jylland. The taste is semi-dry, medium sour with a clearly perceptible raspberry, red currant, dried apricot, black pepper and bitter almond. Slåen Mjød is best served at a temperature of 7-9 degrees. Store in the refrigerator so that it is always cooled.
