At the most prestigious mead competition in the world Mazer Cup International 2018 in Colorado, USA, mead won a gold medal in the category of commercial producers in the metheglin – sweet section.
Despite its unique name, it can be consumed all year round. In summer, it tastes best cooled with an ice cube, in winter it is delicious as a toast. Heat to a maximum of 55°C so as not to spoil the taste.
