Vintermjød is a full and sweet mead dominated by dark and bitter notes of spruce and rosemary, which perfectly balance the sweetness and add freshness, as well as make the taste refer to port wine. The liquor is characterized by a deep dark amber color.
Winter honey is an ideal Christmas drink for cold winter days, but it is also perfect for cool summer evenings. Vintermjød goes great with desserts and cheeses. In addition, it should be mentioned that its bitterness makes it also suitable for salty dishes such as hunting stew. It will go well with smoked products, ham, sausage or hot smoked salmon.
