Nero d'Avola-Syrah DOC Sicilia Riserva is an excellent Italian, red, semi-dry wine from Sicily. Obtained from grapes of the Nero d'Avola strain. A distinctive dominant feature of Syclia is the excellent exposition of its vineyards. Vineyards are found on coastal plains with moraine and alluvial soils, as well as in hills and highlands with limestone and loamy terroir. Hence the characteristic good minerality of wines from these regions due to the volcanic origin of a large part of the soils. Nero d'Avola-Syrah DOC Sicilia Riserva is a noticeably ruby red with purple shades in the glass. In aromas intense notes of violet and spices, ripe red fruits such as raspberry and cherry. The taste will be a warm, rich and round wine, with a good structure with a fruity and spicy aroma and a durable finish Ideally suited as a company of spicy dishes also those from pasta, red meat and ripe cheese.
