Sloane's Dry Gin is named after the distinguished botanical and gin-making scientist Sir Hans Sloane (1660 - 1753). It was he who, with his botanical collection, introduced to the world of gin the juniper berries, fresh oranges and lemons, orris root, angelica, cardamom, coriander, liquorice and vanilla, exotic for the time, which have formed the aromatic basis in gin production ever since.
Sloane's Dry Gin is an exclusive gin made exclusively from high quality botanicals, fresh fruits and spices from around the world including Italy, Morocco, Madagascar, India. The production of Sloane's Dry Gin, unlike other gins, is done in small batches. The botanicals are macerated in high proof alcohol for 24 hours, maceration is followed by individual distillation, then the product is aged for a minimum of one month.
In 2011, Sloane's Dry Gin won a double gold medal for best gin ever and two titles: "World's Best Gin" and "Best White Alcoholic Beverage".
