Inländer rums are a flavoured variety of rums imported from the Caribbean combined with European molasses. The name Inländer is reserved only for rums produced in Austria. The tradition of Austrian Inländer rum dates back more than 180 years, when it first appeared in the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. Sebastian Stroh, with the distillation of his first liqueur in 1832, gave birth to a history whose every subsequent year was full of new successes.
