Apple and Horseradish 'O Ja Cię Chrzanię' is a distillate that made its debut at the end of 2021 at the ENDOEXPO trade fair in Krakow. It immediately sparked huge curiosity among lovers of strong spirits and was extremely positively reviewed. Bottled at 42.3% strength, 'O Ja Cię Chrzanię' is the result of the craftsmanship, extraordinary ability to combine flavours and many years of experience of Christopher Ima, master blender of Ima Distillery.
How is apple and horseradish distillate made?
"O Ja Cię Chrzanię" was created by distilling in an alembic from regional Wielkopolska apples and wild horseradish. How exactly is this beverage prepared? Horseradish is cut into thin slices and poured over vodka. It is then macerated for a minimum of 30 days to extract its flavour and aroma. The mature macerate is distilled in a proprietary alembic and combined with apple vodka.
The taste of 'O ja Cię Chrzanię' combines the spiciness of horseradish and the sweetness of apples. In the finish it is smooth and pleasant. This is a limited product, available in small quantities.
