Tignanello Toscana I.G.T. is a well-known, dignified and great red wine from a sensational producer. This Italian wine has a ruby, intense color with accents of purple. In the nose, this Tuscan wine is intensely aromatic, with notes of red fruits, currants, leather and sweet spices. Made of sangiovese, cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon, it is abundant, complex, with tannins and oak structure palpable on the palate. The wine has an unprecedented character and personality, confirming this with a long, beautiful finish.
Tignanello was the first Sangiovese wine to ripen in barriques, the first modern red wine mixed with non-Traditional Tuscan varieties (especially Cabernet) and one of the first red wines in the Chianti Classico region that did not contain white grape varieties. Tignanello is a milestone. Currently, it is produced from strains of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
