Aransat is an orange wine from the Italian region of Friuli. It is made from traditional varieties grown in the region, a blend of Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc. It owes its colour and unmistakable character to a special production process, during which the juice is in contact with the skins for up to 90 days at a maintained temperature of 18 degrees. A natural malolactic fermentation process also occurs during maceration. The entire production is kept in line with organic principles.

It is not only the method of vinification carried out and the colour that is unique to this wine. Behind the whole process is also a unique character, full of notes of ripe peach, tea or cashew nuts. A fuller and more expressive structure than is usual for white wines, leaving a long finish and an intense taste sensation.

Aransat will go well with dishes with a rich structure and complex flavours. Mushroom risotto or Asian-inspired cuisine - such as tikka masala - will prove to be ideal companions. It is also a very interesting choice for those who like to explore new and unusual flavours.
