Badia a Passignano is a completely exceptional quality Chianti Classico in the Riserva version (this means longer maturation in oak barrels). 100% Sangiovese means 100% character of The wine from Tuscany. The production process is long, the wine first goes to 15 months of small oak barrels of barriques (225 liters), and then spends 15 months in bottles. The wine exudes a beautiful ruby in a glass. The complex nose contains intense notes of ripe red fruits, especially black cherries, which are combined with sweet notes of berries and apricots. The bouquet is complemented by pleasant balsamic sensations of aromatic herbs and roasted aromas of chocolate, coffee, licorice and vanilla. On the palate it is rich, filling in the mouth, juicy and aromatic, but at the same time full of freshness and mineral notes. Extremely long and complex on the palate. It has excellent aging potential.
