Flavored vodka
Tatarczówka is a regional vodka from Cieszyn Silesia prepared on the basis of calamus rhizome. Once a glass of Tatarczówka was drunk in Skoczów ritually after Easter washing in the river. In order to warm up after this cold, Good Friday bath, everyone received at home a "glass of chicken soup for a chrobok". This was to prevent many diseases, including stomach pain or morning sickness. There is still a tradition that a glass of Tatarczówka is drunk on Good Friday.
