Bushmills Original is one of Ireland's most recognisable blends. It is made up of single malt whiskey and mild grain distillates that are produced on site at the Bushmills distillery. The aroma is dominated by notes of grapes, caramel, lemongrass, pears, peaches and apple juice. The taste is less fruity, with more wood and sweetness. You can sense caramel, vanilla, hazelnuts, roasted almonds, dark chocolate and apricot kernels. The finish is medium-long with notes of ash, caramel, wood and black pepper.
