Grand Reserve Brut Champagne is an excellence in itself. Recognised and appreciated by connoisseurs of the drink. Some call Gosset champagnes the champagnes of the purists, as Gosset is one of the last champagne houses (the other being Lanson) where malolactic fermentation is not used to soften and smooth the wines. Grand Reserve Brut is a rich, slightly extravagant, perfectly crafted champagne. Composed from three varieties of grapes, harvested exclusively from grand cru from the best vintages. Light golden in colour in the glass, with an attractive, expressive and refreshing aroma. This champagne is a dry freshness with light notes of blackcurrant, wheat, dried fruit, in the background we find hints of chamomile and even delicate gingerbread accents. All in a characteristic mineral veil. On the palate, refreshing mineral notes dominate, combined with light flavours of dried fruits, oranges, composed with nutmeg and white pepper. The long finish brings additional slightly smoky accents. Grand Reserve Brut Champagne goes perfectly with sweet and subtly spiced dishes especially sweet and sour dishes such as tajis.
