Chryseia DOC Douro wine 750 ml

Chryseia is a great wine from Portugal's excellent Douro region. The producer's experience, knowledge and love of wine guarantee the best quality spirits under cork. Chryseia is a blend of two of Portugal's flagship varieties, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca. Its name means 'golden' in the language of the ancient Greeks and indeed - it is a real treasure.

The wine is elegant and harmonious, deep and complex. However, it will not surprise us with exceptional weight or sharpness - one could say that it is characterised by a perfect balance. The noble Portuguese tradition is combined in the wine with the rich tradition of Bordeaux, creating a modern style of wine. Tasting it brings a pleasant aroma of cherries in liqueur and blackberries. On the palate, strong, ripe tannins delight. Accents from the ageing in French barrels - sweet spices and vanilla - complete the palate.

Chryseia will go perfectly with red meats and maturing cheeses. It is also a wine that represents the best qualities of the Douro region and is suitable as a gift for the wine cellar, where it can spend many more years.
