Flying Solo Grenache Syrah is a French wine that combines great taste, very good value for money and a remarkable history. The label, styled on a postage stamp with an aeroplane, refers to the pilots of the pioneering 'Aeropostale' who were the first in the world to deliver mail by air from Toulouse to Barcelona in the 1920s, and later also to the USA. They used a giant pine tree growing just outside the vineyard as a landmark. The pilots made solo flights, hence the name Flying Solo. Flying Solo Grenache Syrah is a wine fragrant with red fruit. It has mild tannins and is delicate and fruity. Medium body and a fresh finish.
