Egon Müller Scharzhofberger Riesling Spätlese QmP Wine 750 ml

This Riesling of the Spätelese class, comes out of the hand of one of Germany's best wine makers, Egon Müller. It is made from late harvest fruit. It clearly stands out above other wines of this class with its balance of sweetness and acidity with mineral notes in the background. Very elegant and mellow, with a fruity bouquet and wonderfully ripe citrus fruit.

Absolutely superb! The aroma wafting from the glass is wonderful and very complex: lime, green apple, cherry blossom, a hint of moss, stone-slate, petrol, bee pollen and violet. On the palate, the wine is complex, rich, pure and beautifully concentrated-with blooming complexity, a solid backbone, lively acidity and excellent length.
