Isole e Olena Chianti Classico DOCG 750 ml wine

Isole E Olena from Chianti Classico is an absolute classic of the Tuscan region and a demonstration of the potential of both the local terroir and the Sangiovese varietal. It acquires maturity during 12 months spent in oak barrels. The Classico region, on the other hand, guarantees the manifestation in the wine of the tradition and terroir from which Chianti wines originate.

It delights with its deep crimson red colour. On the nose, the typical aromas of cherries and red fruits with a hint of spices and herbs are perceptible. On the palate, it captivates with its best qualities - delicate, lyrical, slightly mineral. The wine has a firm structure, with good acidity and noticeable tannins.

This is a Chianti that will feel great with red meats and dishes based on red sauces. A great complement to classic Italian cuisine - from pastas, to risottos, as well as plates of aged ham and cheeses.
