A respected producer from Georgia, Iveriuli gives our glasses a classic Sachino, a semi-dry red wine from the Kakheti region. In it we find a coupage of local varietals, Saperavi with an admixture of the white Rkatsiteli variety.
Sachino is a versatile and delicate wine. Aromas include notes of plums, baked fruit, jam and spices. On the palate, sweet red and dark fruits harmonise deliciously with notes of spice and a pleasant, sweetish finish.
The delicate character and structure of the wine will go perfectly with light dishes based on veal, with pork tenderloin, as well as with classic Italian pastas. Its semi-dry taste and sweet accents also make it an ideal choice for solo consumption with those with a subtle palate.
