One of the great wines from the esteemed producer Joseph Drouhin. It is made entirely from Pinot Noir grapes. The appellation rules allow the use of fruit from parcels around as many as 16 territories. Thanks to careful selection, the grapes chosen from a few of them make up the result of such high quality. The wine is matured for up to 15 months in French oak barrels.
The Cote de Beaune Villages from Drouhin shows in the glass both a character full of elegance and direct Pinot Noir expression. The nose is full of delicate notes of red fruit, while the palate is a concert of refreshing acidity and clearly defined structure. This is an excellent wine showcasing the charisma of the Burgundy terroir combined with the region's most famous varietal.
This wine will go perfectly with white meats, delicate snacks, as well as pastas and risottos. The delectable character of the wine will excel at solo tastings with friends, and the refreshing note makes it a perfect choice for summer afternoons.
