An exceptional red wine from the Langhe DOC appellation located in Piedmont, the northern region of Italy. The distinctive terroir of the region combined with the famous Nebbiolo varietal, known for its wines of full structure and longevity, is responsible for the wine's character. La Spinetta Langhe Nebbiolo was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and finally matured for a further 4 months in bottle.
It is a wine with a deep ruby colour, full of aromas of red berries, with a bouquet of aromatic herbs and wild rose. In the mouth, juicy cherries emerge with accents of ripe blackberries and plums. Expressive tannins and well-balanced acidity harmonise with the full-bodied character and the long, essentious finish. It is also an ideal choice for the wine cellar.
La Spinetta Langhe Nebbiolo is the perfect partner for red meats and structured dishes. It will go perfectly with steak or stew, and will be a great complement to a board of long-ripened cheeses. It will also prove useful as a gift for enthusiasts of full-bodied and exceptional wines.
