Mazzano Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG wine 750 ml

Mazzano is a powerful, majestic Italian wine whose grapes come from a vineyard renowned for the quality of its wines produced since the 12th century. This dry red wine is deep and nuanced, complex and multi-layered. On the nose, a perceptible bouquet full of raspberries, cherries with a touch of spiciness and a hint of spice. On the palate, the wine is expressive, full-bodied, complex, with an attractive combination of sweetness and acidity. A wine definitely for lovers of noble, heavy wines that reach all the taste buds, who will enjoy pairing it with firm, hearty meat dishes. The wine has the potential to age for up to 40 years.

The wines from the Mazzano vineyard- austere and majestic, are the prototype of Amarone. The vineyard is located in the province of Negrar. The grapes are grown on marl soils, at an altitude of between 350 and 415 metres above sea level. Mazzano is a beautifully terraced vineyard, supported by old stone walls.
