This most popular Lithuanian honey Suktinis, its name was taken from the popular Lithuanian folk dance. This is a composition of honey with juniper berries, clove flowers, poplar buds, acorns and many herbs. Rich color was obtained due to the addition of juices from berries, black currant and raspberry. It matured for 18-20 months and as a result we obtained a liquor with a great aroma, taste and high potency (50%).
In 2004, Suktinis was recognized as the Product of the Year of Lithuania and obtained the status of culinary heritage.
Serve solo or as an accompaniment to tea and coffee. It goes great with spicy dishes, it is also excellent in the kitchen for marinating meats.
