A dry red wine from the western part of Sicily, an island located in southern Italy. It is made entirely from the Nero d'Avola grape, a characteristic of the region. The grapes undergo a short drying process to bring out a greater concentration of fruit. This process is called Appassimento.
In the glass, the wine exudes a deep red colour. Delicate hints of red fruit and pomegranate emerge in a bouquet of unusual aromas broken by touches of dried plums and candied fruit. On the palate, silky and juicy, full of pleasant, fine tannin
Passimora Nero d'Avola will go perfectly with a board of meats and seasonal and fresh cheeses, as well as with grilled vegetables and meat dishes. The wine's pleasant charisma means that it can also be enjoyed without a meal.
