In Poland, it is rare, but very popular in Eastern Europe and the Balkans.

The taste is delicate, slightly sour, with a characteristic, intense, "sunny", yellow color. It crystallizes quite quickly, but retains softness and easy lubricity. Recommended in cardiovascular diseases, including atherosclerosis - lowers blood pressure, improves oxygenation of the heart, reduces the level of heavy cholesterol (LDL). It also has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, which is why it is used in the prevention of liver diseases, inflammation of the upper respiratory tract and skin diseases. In the treatment of burns (used externally - compresses) prevents the formation of blisters and post-burn infections. It also compensates for potassium deficiencies in the body, supports the treatment of anemia and states of physical and mental exhaustion, strengthens appetite.
