A wine from the famous Rioja appellation located in the north of Spain. It is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes harvested from vineyards in the Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa sub-regions. It is matured for 24 months in French and American oak barrels, which gives the wine its Gran Reserva classification.
In the glass, it exudes an intense cherry colour. The dominant aromas include plums and forest fruits with touches of vanilla, cigar box and spices. The palate is extremely elegant and surprisingly fresh. Perfectly balanced tannins complement the subtle acidity. Rich and complex, it confirms its class with a long and remarkable finish.
Above all, Vina Bujanda Gran Reserva will go well with steaks and dishes based on red meats. It is also a great companion to mature cheeses and barbecues.
