Akashi Blended Whisky is a blend of malt and grain whiskies from the Eigashima Shuz distillery? It is aged for 5 years with the first three in American white oak casks and the next two finishing in sherry casks. The use of gently peated malts and a robust grain whisky body gives a blend that is very fresh and lively, but well and precisely structured and robust.

Aroma: Sweet with notes of vanilla, honey and dried red fruits.

Taste: Sweet and delicate, with pronounced notes of vanilla and honey, with hints of brown sugar and red fruits.

Finish: Not very long, with fruity highlights.
