Baron de Ley Tres Vinas Reserva Blanco Rioja DOCa 750 ml wine
Baron De LeyA superb blend of three varietals - Viura, Malvasia and Garnacha Bianca from Spain's excellent Rioja region. Each varietal is aged separately to finally create together this excellent dry white wine. The grapes are pressed without maceration, thus achieving an extraordinary freshness, but also a long and soothing finish. In accordance with Rioša's appellation rules, the wine is aged for 12 months in new American oak barrels with rich, lively, sweet notes before being bottled for at least another year.
On the nose, we can find intense aromas of nutmeg, autumn fruits, orange peel and hints of mild, sweet oak. In the mouth, we can feel the freshness of citrus and mineral notes, coconut, butter, dried figs and baked apples.
It is the best accompaniment to light meals such as sushi, autumn vegetables including artichokes, Iberian ham or other cured meats. Vinesia.co.uk sincerely recommends this wine to lovers of white excellence and as a gift.
