Gnarly Head 1924 Double Black Red Blend is a dry red wine from the USA that delivers rich aromas of blackberry jam, cocoa, raspberry and caramel. On the palate, we find a juicy core of concentrated fruit and fig jam that finishes with a hint of baking spice. The wine is made from grapes, from selected vineyards throughout Northern California, in particular the Lodi region (an area long known among Californian winemakers as 'the famous Zin'). Lodi's climate is ideal for growing concentrated and full-flavoured grapes, thanks to its permeable sandy soil, warm afternoons and cool night breezes from the Pacific Ocean.
