Royal mead created in honor of the Danish king Harald Sinozębe, whose strategic and political activities were centered around southern Europe. Therefore, in reference to the interests of the king of Kongemjød – Harald Blåtand is brewed on Mediterranean spices.
It is an unusual mead, which with its complex taste and aroma brings to mind sweet mixtures of spices from the Middle East. The sweetness is perfectly balanced with a sharp taste and delicate acidity, which gives a pleasant taste sensation and makes this honey slightly pinch the tongue.
The main noticeable flavor notes are apples, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, ginger and oak. This liquor has a very long, complex aroma and is a bold and strong mead that fills the mouth with taste and remains in a very long aftertaste. It will work best for all kinds of desserts.
