An exceptional dry wine from California, from the Lodi region. The wine is made up of a blend of grapes dominated by Merlot, assisted by Syrah, Petit Sirah, Tannat and Tempranillo. The maturation of part of the wine in rum barrels is responsible for its unique character, resulting in aromas of baking spices, nutmeg and roasted marshmallows. The remainder matured in French and American oak barrels provides the perfect balance between red fruits, raspberry jam with a hint of vanilla, and structured, soft tannins and a slender finish. An ideal wine for red meats and game.
