Old Vine Zinfandel is a wine from the USA, from California, and more specifically from the region famous for its brilliant Zin - Lodi AVA. Wine is characterized by an intense aroma of raspberries, black cherry with the nuances of spices and chocolate. The wine was made from the fruits of the Zinfandel strain, which is closely related to the excellent Italian Primitivo. Aged in oak barrels from the USA and France, it acquires complexity and becomes more round and pleasant. "Old Vine" are old bushes, and they mean reduced yield at the same time of high quality. Tip long and intense. In 2009, he received 91 points at the UItimate Beverage Challenge and a gold medal at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
