Founded in 2016, Copenhagen Mead Company is a small award-winning meadery located just north of Copenhagen in Denmark. We produce rich, intense meads with local Danish honey straight from the beekeeper and locally grown fresh fruit. Our meads are a modern interpretation of what mead can be, with prominent fruit flavors and enough acidity to balance the sweetness from the honey. Many of our meads are aged in oak barrels and our barrel collection keeps growing. We also collaborate with local breweries who re-use our barrels for their high-end beers.
